The cities of Montenegro are decorated and ready for the New Year!

The cities of Montenegro have acquired a new, festive look and are ready for the meeting of the New Year 2018 and Christmas! On the eve of the New Year and Christmas holidays, the central streets and squares on which festive events are organized, as well as boulevards, alleys and embankments of Montenegrin cities were decorated with bright illumination, all kinds of toys, garlands and other symbols of the New Year.

The main tourist cities of Montenegro such as Podgorica, Budva, Bar, Herceg Novi, Tivat and Kotor have prepared for all their residents and visitors an interesting, rich and diverse entertainment program in the open air, and in the city squares and main streets many famous singers and musicians from Montenegro and other countries of the Balkan Peninsula.

This year in the capital of Montenegro - Podgorica on Independence Square, a high New Year tree is established, and the city center is decorated with more than 300 LED lamps and about 150 different luminous curtains and garlands.

The old town of Budva is highlighted by bright New Year's lights, narrow streets are decorated, and on the windows, as usual, there appeared bright inscriptions "SALE", symbolizing grand Christmas discounts. In the central square of the city of Budva, in addition to the Christmas tree, there is a stage where different artists, local and foreign musicians, as well as popular singers will perform during New Year holidays.

In the city of Tivat on the waterfront there is a Christmas tree, 6 meters high! For residents and visitors of the city on Daro Petkovic Square was created a bright New Year composition, depicting reindeers, carrying sledges.

In the Old Town of Kotor are decorated streets, showcases of various shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as several tall trees, of which the most elegant are located on the central Square of Arms and on the square in front of the St. Trypun Cathedral. This year, for the first time, they decorated palm trees on the embankment of the city of Kotor.

Herceg Novi is also ready for the New Year 2018: a natural Christmas tree is installed on the Nikola Jurkovichi Square, the symbol of the city is decorated - the Sat-Kula Clock Tower, Bellavista Square is illuminated with festive illumination, and not forgotten about the embankment and other streets of the city.
