Representatives of the European Union (EU) in Montenegro, in cooperation with the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism and the Public Company of the National Parks of Montenegro, have launched the second part of the "Become a Champion" ecological campaign, which motto is "I don't need a plastic package! I have a shopping bag".
Within the ecological campaign "Become the Champion", which runs from 12 to 17 January, 2018, residents and representatives of five National Parks (NP) of Montenegro: Durmitor National Park
, Lovcen National Park
, Skadar Lake National Park
, Biogradska Gora National Park
and National Park Prokletiye
, 7000 tissue bags will be presented, on which the slogan of the campaign is indicated - "I don't need a plastic package! I have a shopping bag".
As stated by EU representatives, this environmental campaign is aimed at raising public awareness about the need to protect the nature of the National Parks of Montenegro.
At the first stage, the campaign was aimed at addressing the issues of proper waste recycling in Montenegro. In the second stage, the goal of the "Become Champion" campaign will be to raise awareness among residents and visitors of Montenegro about the harmful effects of plastic bags on nature and people, as well as offering various solutions aimed at reducing the excessive use of plastic in everyday life.Schedule of activities of the ecological campaign "Become a Champion"

In all these places, distribution of free promotional bags with the motto of the campaign will be organized
, and also all balloons will be presented to all visitors. In addition, all kinds of entertainment for children, with developing games, songs and gifts for participants of competitions are planned.
On Wednesday, 17 January, 2018, all residents of the regions of the five national parks in Montenegro will be able to receive free promotional bags with the motto of the campaign in the editorial office of the Montenegrin newspaper Novosti.
After all these events, DeFacto agency will conduct research and measure the consequences of the "Become a Champion" ecological campaign
