Ski center Savin Kuk, which is located near the town of Zabljak, offers all residents and visitors to Montenegro to go skiing and snowboarding at night, if the weather permits.
Many skiers and snowboarders visiting ski resorts in Montenegro prefer to skate exclusively in the evening or at night, despite the lower temperature in the dark. Every evening dozens of visitors ride on snow-covered trails in the territory of the ski resort of Zhabljak (Durmitor).
The ski slopes in Zabljak are open for night skiing for three hours from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Many fans of active winter rest say they prefer the night skiing or snowboarding as the ski slopes are practically without people, and therefore, more smooth, snow-covered and not as damaged as during the day.
