The Ministry of Culture of Montenegro reported that
a meeting of the Minister of Culture, Alexander Bogdanovic, with the Chinese Ambassador, Cui Jivey, was held in Cetinje this week, where they
discussed the possibilities for further development of bilateral relations between Montenegro and China in the field of culture. The interlocutors also noted the positive and dynamic development of cooperation between the countries in the field of culture and art.
"At the meeting it was decided that after Montenegro offers projects for the use and development of cultural sites, the Chinese Embassy will contact potential investors in China and offer them the opportunity to participate in their implementation," the statement of the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro states.
Chinese Ambassador to Podgorica, Cui Jiwel, said that
potential Chinese investors need to present all the opportunities that Montenegro offers in the framework of the project on valorizing the country's rich cultural heritage for tourist purposes. Also, the Chinese ambassador, suggested the possibility of the arrival of experts from China who could help colleagues from Montenegro evaluate and properly use the cultural heritage to promote the country in the global tourism market.
