Auto-Moto Union (AMC) of Montenegro calls on all motorists in the coming days to be extremely careful and cautious when driving on roads, because, due to bad weather, in the north of Montenegro there are mostly wet and slippery roads, while in higher areas of the country on the roads is possible wet snow and even ice. In addition, representatives of the AMS of Montenegro reported that in some places snowfalls were recorded and warned of the occurrence of minor landslides along the rocks and gorges.
Auto-motor union of Montenegro advised drivers to adjust to weather conditions, adjust driving depending on the situation on the road, and also
observe the rules of the road. The use of winter equipment on the car is mandatory on those roads where there are appropriate road signs, regardless of the weather conditions.
At the moment, we know about impassable roads on the routes of Mioska-Semolj-Boan and Tresnevik-Andrijevica.
On the main road Budva - Cetinje, on the sections Braici - Lapcici and Koshljun - Zavala traffic of cars is carried out one by one in turn and is regulated by traffic light signals. In addition, traffic will be stopped from 9:15 to 11:15 am and from 2:00 to 3:45 pm on the Koshlyun-Zavala section.
On the Ulcinj-Krute plot, due to construction work, traffic for all types of vehicles will be blocked from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:30 to 3:30 pm.
Because of the second stage of the reconstruction of the Petrovac-Podgorica road, from its intersection with the Golubovici bypass road to the intersection with the road to Podgorica airport, the mode of transport movement from two-sided to one-sided was changed.
The construction of footpaths along the main road Risan-Perast also made its own corrections and now on this site the mode of movement of cars from two-sided to one-sided is changed. Until the reconstruction of the regional road Cetinje Negushi is completed, the cars will be moved alternately along one lane and adjusted by traffic lights.
