This year, as part of the global campaign against violence called "Billion Against Violence",
in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, Independence Square hosted the action "Dancing Against Violence".
The main message of this action:
"Zero percent of tolerance for any kind of cruelty and violence against women and children".
"This year the organizers of such events call upon the whole world to strengthen global solidarity in the fight against all forms of violence!", Reported from the Montenegrin Women's Protection Union. It is also worth noting that the action "Billion Against Violence" is the most massive activist movement in the history of the international struggle against violence against women and children.
Let's remind that last year, on February 14,
representatives of about 200 countries of the world, including Montenegro, took part in the action "Dances Against Violence".
This event in Podgorica was organized by the Safe Women's House of Montenegro as part of a program funded by the delegation of the European Union (EU) and implemented jointly with the Ministry of Human Rights and Minorities.
