Montenegrin mountaineer Caroline Ilic successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and installed the flag of Montenegro on the top. Note that a resident of the coastal city of Bar began her ascent to Kilimanjaro on 27 March, 2018 and was already at the top of the mountain on 2 April.
After this ascent,
Karolina Ilic became the first Montenegrin mountaineer, who in less than a year conquered the highest peaks of the world: Elbrus, Aconcagva and Kilimanjaro. Just two months ago, a brave resident of the city of Bar conquered Mount Aconcagua (6960.8 m.), Which is located in the Andes and is the highest mountaintop in South America.
Recall that
Kilimanjaro is a potentially active stratovolcano of almost conical shape, which is located in north-eastern Tanzania. It is the highest point on the African continent and one of the highest mountain peaks in the world. Kilimanjaro consists of three main peaks, which are also extinct volcanoes: Shira (3,962 meters above sea level), Kibo (5,892 meters) and Mavenzi (5,149 meters).
"I'm Montenegrin, thank the Universe and everyone who supports me and loves me", -
Carolina said after the conquest of Kilimanjaro.
