The bus station in the city of Kotor (Montenegro) will be soon reconstructed.
According to the director of the bus station Kotor, Veselin Salamadija, a preliminary project for the reconstruction of the building has already been prepared. "We are talking about significant modernization and reconstruction, after which the bus station should become one of the most representative and modern buildings of this kind in Montenegro," Salamadija said on the radio Kotor.

this bus station annually serves about 250 000 passengers who leave or arrive in the resort town of Kotor.
"Normally, bus stations are the place of first contact of guests with the city they come to, and Kotor is not an exception in this respect, which is why the bus station in Kotor should be at the proper level and meet all international requirements," said Veselin Salamadija . According to him, the building is regularly maintained within the available facilities.
For Kotor bus station, it is characteristic that in summer its most numerous users are foreigners who mostly travel long distances.
Currently, about 40 coaches send their buses on various domestic and international routes from the ten bus stations. During the summer season, buses leave the city of Kotor in different directions more than 170 times a day.
