Representatives of tour operators and media outlets from Turkey this week visited Montenegro in order to get to know more about its sights and tourist offers.
This visit was organized by the National Tourism Organization (NTO) of Montenegro and Turkish Airlines air companies with the support of local tourist organizations of Budva and Kotor.
"On the first day of the visit, guests from Turkey visited the famous Montenegrin cities of Kotor and Perast, and also met with representatives of the tourist organization of Kotor who presented them with tourist offers of the city.Then they visited the Hotel Regent Porto Montenegro, located in the elite area of Porto Montenegro in the resort town of Tivat , and strolled along the embankment in the marina port of Porto Montenegro, "the NTO of Montenegro said in a statement.
In addition, Turkish tour operators and the media got acquainted with the implemented and planned projects for the construction of the residential settlement Lustica Bay, located on the peninsula of Lustica, near the city and Tivat airport.
"During the visit, guests from Turkey also visited Avala and Splendid hotels located in the popular tourist town of Budva, get acquainted with their services, and also met with the Montenegrin Tourist Association," the statement said.
To familiarize with the tourist offers of the central and northern regions of Montenegro, Turkish representatives visited the National Park Biogradska Gora, Bianca hotels, Four Points by Sheraton, Hilton and CentreVille in Podgorica.
