In the National Park Biogradska Gora began a new summer tourist season yesterday. Statistics compared to last year shows the best attendance of this natural reserve of Montenegro.
Director of NP Biogradska Gora, Sasha Jacknic, said that the comparative figures for the season from April 2017 to April 2018 and say that this year the National Park was visited by 15% more tourists compared to last year.
"This is a very good indicator, because in 2017 we had about 45 000 visitors, which, at that time, was an absolute record of attendance of the National Park Biogradska Gora over the past 20 years," Jacknic said in his statement.
According to the representatives of the National Park, the success of each tourist season, in addition to preparing the territory itself, directly depends on the weather conditions. And at the moment favorable weather in this region of Montenegro means a successful tourist season.
It is worth noting that the sunny weather prevailed in the National Park Biogradska Gora also during the celebration of the May holidays, during which numerous tourists and residents from all corners of Montenegro celebrated Labor Day, May Day, sing songs, enjoy good atmosphere, lively music and dancing.
