This weekend in Kotor was presented a novelty of the tourist offer of Montenegro for all lovers of sports and outdoor activities - Via Ferrata. The phrase Via Ferrata in Italian means literally "trail of iron" or "iron path".
Via Ferrata is a new type of active recreation in Montenegro, which is a rock climbing, but in a more secure way thanks to the special insurance system and safety ropes, which are fixed to the rock along the entire route by special metal pins. In the event that a tourist has to climb the steep mountain slopes, special metal staples are mounted in the rocks, for which you can hold hands or step on your feet and, accordingly, climb the mountain.
It should be noted that this kind of recreation will be interesting not only to professional climbers, but also to all lovers of nature and adventure in Montenegro, as it makes it possible to climb even such steep cliffs, the ascent to which initially seems unreal. Also representatives of the company-organizer said that the safety on their routes is guaranteed to all participants of the ascent to the mountain, therefore there is no reason for fear.
