The State Enterprise for the Management of the Coastal Zone of Montenegro announced
the launch of a public tender for the right to rent a shoreline for the construction of new beaches and bathing areas in three municipalities: Bar, Herceg Novi and Tivat. This decision was approved by the Government of Montenegro at the regular session.
New beaches with a total area of 8,671 square meters are reportedly to receive resort towns Bar, Herceg Novi and Tivat.
"Two new bathing places are planned to be built at the foot of the Rumia mountain range: the first beach, 100 meters long and 1.447 square meters in area, will be created near the village of Dobra Voda, the second beach on the coast in Ujtin potok, a length of 80 meters and an area of 1.337 square meters.In addition, the new beach area will be built on the peninsula of Lustica, south of the village of Rose.This is an absolutely wild beach 85 meters long and covering an area of 4187 square meters. The new beach is also planned to be built in the village of Belanje (Tivat), where there is already a 95-meter long sandy beach with an area of 1,700 square meters", -
