The training ship Jadran (Yadran) carrying students, teachers and staff of the Naval University of Kotor (Montenegro) arrived today at the port of the resort town of Kotor.
A school cruise named "Plovidba 2018" was held from May 5th to 13th on the route Tivat - La Valletta (Malta) - Kotor. Practical training on this ship passed 47 students from the faculties of shipbuilding, navigation and communications, marine economy and marine science.
During the eight-day cruise, the students visited the Maritime Museum in La Valletta (Malta), were trained at the Malta Pilots Research Simulator, and also practiced the docking of two cruise ships in the port of La Valette. In addition, while sailing on the training ship of the navy of Montenegro, students had the opportunity to swim on a ship in the high seas under sail.
At the Naval University of Kotor noted that this school cruise passed without any problems and all planned activities were realized.
