The state enterprise for the management of the coast of Montenegro started a few days ago to repair the pier in the area of Zanic, located on the peninsula of Lustica.
"Works on the repair and rehabilitation of this marine infrastructure include the removal of broken concrete piles, repair of reinforcement, reinforcement of longitudinal and transverse beams, as well as supporting elements of the bearing structure of the berth," the representatives of the Montenegrin Marine Department said.
After all roughing and preparatory work on the pier, new steel profiles will be installed, which will be 12-cm welded beams and be the upper final layer of the pier.
"All the works are carried out in accordance with the planned dynamics and it is expected that they will be completed in early June, after which the pier will operate at full capacity." Presumably, the cost of all reconstruction and construction works at the jetty in Zanic will be about 35 thousand euros", - says in the application.
