In Montenegro, it is planned to build the third major international airport, which will be located in the Ulcinj Riviera near the village of Štoj, near the island of Ada Bojana.
According to the publication BalkanPro, this initiative was made by a large hotel group Karisma Hotels Adriatic, which recently opened a new hotel complex in Montenegro, Holiday Village Montenegro, which is located on the Velika Plaža in Ulcinj. According to them, the new international airport will allow to increase several times the tourist flow to the island of Ada Bojana and in general to the Ulcinj Riviera, and also turn the southern part of the coast of Montenegro into a new tourist center for beach recreation and all kinds of entertainment: surfing, sailing, skiing, etc...
It is also worth noting that in the future, Karisma Hotels Adriatic, together with its strategic partner - tour operator TUI, intends to develop and the island of Ada Boyana. To date, their joint investments in Montenegrin projects have already amounted to about 14 million euros. Last year Karisma Hotels Adriatic rented Bellevue and Olympic hotels to the local company "Ulcinska Riviera" and a large hotel complex Holiday Village Montenegro was built in their place. Also soon they will be reconstructed hotel Lido.
