In the Lovcen National Park, near
the village of Negusi, the world-famous production of the national delicacy -
prsut,
the ethno village of Sveti Georgije (St. George) was officially opened, in which about 7.5 million euros were invested.
The recently constructed tourist ethno complex St. George was opened by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Montenegro, Milutin Simović and the Mayor of Cetinje, Aleksandar Kašćelan.
"Ethno village of St. George is an example of a project that combines many of the advantages of Montenegro.This project is created in a stunning location and represents a combination of the unique natural beauty and generosity of our land.Today, Montenegro is the fastest growing and developing Balkan country, and also one of the most attractive tourist places in Europe for people who want to relax on the Adriatic coast, and for investors from around the world, "said Milutin Simović.
Mayor of Cetinje, Alexander Kaschelan, also expressed great satisfaction with the opening of this ethno-village in Negusi and noted the importance of creating and implementing such large-scale projects in Montenegro, which, he said, solve one of the most important problems in the country - employment of the local population.
Ethno-village of St. George is located in the town of Krstac, below
the mausoleum of Peter II Petrovich Njegos at the foot of the Lovcen mountain massif.
On the territory of the ethno village of Sveti Georgije there are: 15 high-class apartments with a capacity of up to 80 beds, 2 VIP suites equipped with the latest technology, 3 conference rooms with a capacity of 350 seats, a restaurant for 500 people and much more for recreation and entertainment.
