A popular tourist search and booking service Aviasales conducted a survey among its customers and named most popular country with the Russians for recreation with children this summer.
With the help of this study, they found out that at the moment with Russians the most popular tourist destinations for family holidays are Russian resorts, such as the Krasnodar Territory, Sochi and the Crimea. Among foreign countries, which are chosen by the residents of Russia for recreation with children, Turkey, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Greece and Spain are leading. It is these tourist countries that are very popular with Russians because of the availability of different hotel complexes and private villas with a large own territory and a wide range of services.
According to Aviasales, the cheapest flights from Russia to Sochi, Crimea and Bulgaria will be in June: on average, a ticket to an economy class for these resorts from Moscow can be bought from 7,500 rubles in both directions. Flight to Greece will cost Russian tourists twice as much - about 14,000 rubles, but this price will be relevant throughout the summer season. Spain, on average, is more expensive than Greece by 20%.
It is worth noting that this summer, Montenegro for the first time became more expensive than Spain for the cost of air tickets from Russia: the cheapest flights from Moscow to Tivat and back can only be found at the end of August, and their cost is about 16,700 rubles.
