In the National Park (NP) Durmitor, which is located in the north-west of Montenegro, 101 volunteers from Hungary, in cooperation with the Tourist Organization (TO) Zhabljak, planted 1001 trees. It is worth noting that the planting of trees was organized in the area that suffered from fires last year.
Various actions and measures for reforestation in Montenegro are carried out in preparation for the fourth International Film Festival "Green Montenegro" (GMIFF - Green Montenegro International Film Fest), which will be implemented in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Montenegro under the project " Development of tourism with a low level of carbon dioxide. "
After the previous three film festivals, the GMIFF Council decided that the fourth cinema festival moved to one of the most beautiful natural parks in Europe - the Durmitor National Park, located in Montenegro.
The 4th International Film Festival "Green Montenegro" will be held from 4 to 8 August 2018 in the National Park Durmitor. All films, within the framework of this film festival, will be shown at night in a very beautiful place in the open space, next to the Black Lake, at the foot of the Durmitor mountain range. All tourists, guests and locals will be able to attend this film festival and, in addition to watching films, take part in various cultural programs and recreational activities that will take place during the five days of the festival.
It is worth noting that the International Film Festival "Green Montenegro" will complement the tourist and cultural offer of the city of Zabljak and Montenegro.
