Since the beginning of this year, the National Parks (NP) of Montenegro (Durmitor, Lovcen, Biogradska Gora, Prokletie and Skadar Lake) have visited about 100,000 residents and tourists, which is approximately 20% more than in the same period last year.
Companies that manage these national natural resources expect that during the summer season, the number of visitors will only grow and another record tourist season awaits them.
"The most attractive tourist offers this year are certainly: rafting on the mountain river Tara, hiking and biking tours, fishing on mountain rivers and lakes, boat trips along the Skadar Lake, visiting the Mausoleum of Njegos, walking trails around the Black Sea , Biograd or Khrid mountain lakes,"
- said representatives of the managing company of the National Parks of Montenegro.
The cost of entering the National Parks of Montenegro, with the possibility to use all the hiking, biking and mountain routes, namely to separate areas included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, is different.
The price for the entrance to the Durmitor National Park and one of the last virgin forests in Europe is
NP Biogradska Mountain is 3 euro/person,
Skadar Lake - 4 euro/person,
Lovcen National Park - 2 euro/person, and in the youngest
National Park of Montenegro - Prokletije the cost of the entrance is only 1 euro/person. Free entrance to all National Parks is valid for all children under seven.
