The tourist tax in Kotor increased from 80 cents to 1 euro per day per person.
Radio Kotor reports that from this Sunday all tourist arriving to the resort town of Kotor will be charged a tourist tax of 1 euro for 1 day of stay.
The Municipality of Kotor, on the basis of the Law on Tourism Tax for Accommodation in Montenegro, decided to increase the amount of tax for tourists to stay in the country from 80 cents to one euro. This Decision enters into force on the eighth day after its publication in the Official bulletin and will be applied from Sunday.
It is worth noting that
the tourist tax for the stay in Montenegro of children from 12 to 18 years will be reduced by half and will be 50 cents, and the tax is not paid for children under 12 years.
