In the nearest Sunday, August 5, in Montenegro the hunting season begins, when hunting for quail, turtledove, gray crow, magpie and jay will be officially opened, the Association of Hunters of Montenegro reported.
The hunting season in Montenegro for quails will be open until October 31, on pigeons and a turtledove until December 31, and hunting for a gray crow, magpie and jay will be allowed until February 15, 2019.
Note that this year the hunting season in Montenegro for various types of ducks (mallard, wig, etc.) and coots begins on August 19 and will last until February 15, 2019. Hunt for snipe in Montenegro is possible from November 5, 2018 to February 15, 2019.
"The main hunting season for animals in Montenegro officially opens on Sunday, October 7, after which hunting for wild boar, wolf, fox, jackal, marten, badgers, hares and pheasants will be permitted. The hunting season for marmot will be completed on November 30, hare on December 31, hunting for martens, wild boars and pheasants will be banned from January 31, and hunt for wolf, jackal and fox will be possible until February 29, 2019," the Association of Hunters Montenegro reported.
According to the Law on Wildlife and Hunting in Montenegro, for hunting in the country for birds and animals, each hunter must have the appropriate hunting permit issued by the owner of the hunting grounds, as well as the Hunter's Card issued by the Association of Hunters of Montenegro.
