At the lighthouse on Mendry, in the Bay of Valdanos, which is located between the cities of Bar and Ulcinj, a sea turtle was seen, reports portal Ul info.
According to eyewitnesses, she looked rather tired, swam to the pier near the lighthouse to rest and breathe air, and then headed toward the open sea.
Sea turtles breathe with lungs and therefore sometimes go out on land to breathe in air. As a rule, they float on the surface of the sea for 5 to 7 minutes, and then sink under water and can stay there for up to five hours.
Sea turtles are completely harmless for humans, but if people provoke them and try to catch them, then their bite is quite dangerous and can cause serious injury.
