On the territory of the Vrbanj mountain range, which is located near the resort town of Herceg Novi, the construction of the Adventure Park began.
All construction work, the creation of various recreational areas and facilities for sports, and the placement of appropriate equipment should be ready by mid-September. After this, training of instructors and technical inspection and reception of the adventure park will be held, which officially should be opened on the Day of the City of Herceg Novi, October 28, 2018.
Director of the Herceg-Novi Construction and Development Agency, Boro Lucic, said that the initial rough construction work includes the organization of a car parking for 24 cars, the construction of holiday houses, the construction of a small fence, arbors, and the finishing of mountain slopes. "Everything will be made from natural materials so as not to disturb the environment," Boro Lučić added.
According to Boro Lučić,
the entrance to Adventure Park will be paid, but before determining the cost of the ticket it will be necessary to determine who and how will manage this park. This will be known only after the training of instructors and the completion of the technical reception of the Adventure Park.
Before the opening of the park eight instructors will be trained, who will be offered temporary employment, since this is a "seasonal" job. Namely, the adventure park will operate from March / April to October / November, provided favorable weather conditions in this area of Montenegro, because due to snow in December, January and February, most of the "elements" and objects in the park can not be used .
Recall that the Amusement Park on Vrbanj will be built on an area of 7 000 m² in a beech forest, to the north-west of the so-called Šteficine kuće house, at an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level. For the purchase and installation of equipment was chosen Slovenian company Vavrca d.o.o., whose proposal for the construction of this park was 128,550 euros. To perform all infrastructural works in the park area, the contractor Krušo d.o.o was selected, who offered the lowest price of 68,575 euros for all works.
The total cost of the Adriatic Canyoning project is 1,879,251 euros, of which co-financing from EU funds is 1 597 363.59 euros or 85% of all investments. Of the common budge 305,000 euros has been allocated the Adventure Park in Vrbanj.
