The fire, which broke out on Monday in the area of Pastrovacka mountain, located between the cities of Petrovac and St Stephan, is extinguished, said the commander of the Budva Rescue and Defense Service, Dragan Bozovic. He also added that in addition to the burned grass, the fire did not cause any material losses to local residents living in the area.
Recall that due to the constant gusts of wind, the fire covered a huge area in the Budva district from the settlements of Reževići, Medigovići and Brda to Blizikuća, which are located at the foot of the mountain near St. Stephan.
D. Bozovic said that four fire brigades from Budva worked all night in the area and that at the moment the fire was completely extinguished. "This fire did not cause any harm to residential facilities and, accordingly, residents of this area did not incur any material losses. Only dry grass and low vegetation suffered in the fire, not a single evergreen tree was burned, residential houses and other buildings were intact and safe, none of the residents were harmed, the material damage is zero, "Dragan Bozhovich said.
