At today's session, members of the Herceg Novi municipality decided to develop a plan for the construction of a highway on the Lustica peninsula leading to a rather attractive and very popular place in Montenegro - the Blue Cave (Plava Spilja).
Representatives of the municipality want to pave the way to the Blue Cave, so that the residents and guests of Montenegro can visit this landmark more often and see the beauty of this place from the mainland!
Committee member Mladen Ivanovic (Mladen Ivanović), commenting on the preliminary decision to build the access road to the Blue Cave, warned that the new infrastructure in the untouched natural area of the Lustica peninsula could lead to pollution of the area, both visual and ecological.
The Secretary for Territorial Planning and Construction in Montenegro, Marina Sekulich (Marina Sekulić) reported that the construction of the road to the Blue Cave and related infrastructure along the way will be carried out in accordance with the approved master plan and all recommendations for the conservation of the surrounding nature, and the possibility of pollution this place will be affected by the relevant points and details in the technical documentation.
