On the Torre Guaceto beach in Brindisi, Italy, the first bottle was found with a “message” sealed inside — a comic book that sailed across the Adriatic Sea directly from the Herceg NOvi festival of comics this summer in Montenegro.
A confirming photo can be found on the Internet, which shows that the bottle with the “message” is in the hands of a certain Domenica.
“After rain and waves, mud and storm winds ... gifts came from the sea!”, Wrote Thalassia Coop on their Facebook page, the Italian branch of the conservation group Thalassia, which is involved in the protection of wild animals. They were grateful to the Herceg Novi comics festival, which gave them these emotions that were characteristic of some other time.
“The bottle was found on the coast of Italy, in Brindisi, at a distance of about 130 miles from its place of departure, located in Montenegro on the other side of the Adriatic Sea,” said the representative of the organization for the protection of wildlife, Nebojsa Mandic.
