In the center of Herceg Novi as a museum exhibit a small submarine P-916 Kupa of class "Una» to be exposed, which was a part of the Naval Fleet of Yugoslavia. The vessel was built 30 years ago.
In March, the town mayor's office called on the government of Montenegro to allow them to use the submarine as a tourist attraction as part of Herceg-Novi nomination for the role of "European Capital of Culture 2021". The authorities have approved the proposal. In accordance with the decision of the administration of the resort will pay for all costs associated with the preparation of already quite decrepit submarine as an exhibit, as well as its transportation and installation.
