In Montenegro, the use of winter equipment for all cars will be mandatory from November 15 to March 31 next year. Drivers who do not comply with these rules of the road will have to pay a fine of between 300 and 2,000 euros, depending on the nature of the violation.

From the Budva Road Safety Center (CB Budva) it was reported that a fine in the amount of 300 to 2,000 euros will also be imposed on the legal entity for the offense if it orders or allows its vehicle to participate in the movement on the roads of Montenegro without appropriate winter equipment. “A fine from 50 to 150 euros will be imposed on the driver, that is, the individual who will drive the roads of Montenegro in a vehicle without winter tires or without appropriate winter equipment,” said the assistant commander of the Central Bank of Budva, Zelko Kadovic.
