On the road that runs along the coast and leading from the Old Town to Mogren Beach in Budva, there was a slide of rock, reports RTV Budva.
According to JP Morsko dobro, the manager of Montenegro’s sea coast, rock slide on the way to Mogren beach was caused by adverse weather conditions, namely, torrential rains and strong winds that were observed in recent days in the Budva Riviera area. For the safety of the residents and guests of Budva, the company JP Morsko dobro (JPMD) temporarily closed the entrance to this road.
A representative of JP Morsko dobro, Ivana Lazovic, said that in the coming days, utilities will begin cleaning the road in Budva, leading to the Mogren beach, from the dam and restoration of the damaged fence. “JPMD has blocked the entrance gate, and they will be closed until the situation is completely stabilized, and also until the utilities do a full cleaning and restoration of the road, which will make it even safer,” she said.
