The municipal police of the city of Nikšić, which is located in the north of Montenegro, has launched a campaign "Sidewalk", aimed at creating and ensuring a safer atmosphere and all conditions for the unimpeded movement of pedestrians through the streets of the city.
It is worth noting that the action "Sidewalk" will be held in Niksic over the next 30 days.
“The goal of the Sidewalk campaign is road safety and raising the culture of road traffic to a higher level, as well as creating all conditions for the unimpeded movement of pedestrians on the footpaths of the city of Nikshich,” said Novitsa Milovic, the head of the municipal police. He also noted that the residents and guests of Nikshich can no longer walk on the sidewalks because of the cars parked on them, saying that at that time there would be no privileged persons for the police.
During the “Pavement” promotion, the penalty for incorrect parking will be 50 euros, and the penalty for the so-called parking stop will be 10 euros.
“The city parking service and the communal police work together. The penalty for improper parking will be 50 euros, and if the penalty is paid within eight days, 33.3 euros,” said N. Milovich.
