Black Lake
Black Lake consists of two lakes - Small (Malo Crno jezero) and Big (Veliko Crno jezero) connected by a narrow isthmus (60 m) and it is of glacial origin. Moreover, Big lake with at most 855 m length has a maximum depth of 26 m and a Small one with a length of only 600 m has a depth of about 50 m. Thus, the more amount of water is stored actually in Small black lake.
One religious legend associated with the lake. According to legend, Saint Sava, traveling to these places, was unjustly convicted of theft and the whole village chased him. As a punishment for pursuers, holy righteous sent the water to the village: a Small lake flooded the village itself and a Big one - the nearby meadows.
