B-52 cocktail recipe

Ingredients for the B-52 cocktail
1/3 coffee liqueur  Kahlúa
1/3 Irish cream (Baileys Irish Cream)
1/3 liqueur  "Cointreau"


It is originated in the USA. The name of this cocktail
refers from the US B-52 bomber. It has an "explosive" effect, by which the mixture affects person's system. That is why the cocktail suits best for an active evening and it is so popular in the night clubs in the USA as well as in Europe. 

 

How to make B-52 cocktail

Cooking of this cocktail is realized by means of stacking-up one ingredient over the other in same turn as it is described above. Pour the components slowly over the back of a cold bar spoon holding at the edge of a shooter glass 50ml. If not to mix the components, it is possible to create a nice visual effect.  If you want to fire the alcohol Cointreau containing, it is preferably to use a fireproof glass (not cut-glass). It is served with a soda straw and drink in one shot.


Recommendations

In order to fire the B-52 cocktail, do not put Cointreau into the fridge, it should not be cold. Set on fire and wait a red flame, than put out the fires and drink fast through a soda straw. One likes to drink burning cocktail, but it's not right. Your soda straw melts into the cocktail and it becomes a new ingredient:) Also you can be burnt if drinking from a glass. To create even layers for the cocktail at home, use a tea spoon. Hold it back side top at the edge of a glass and pour the required portion of liqueurs slowly.
