Daiquiri cocktail recipe

Ingredients:
— 6/10 white Rum
— 3/10 lemon or lime juice
— 1/10 sugar syrup

According to the traditional recipe Daiquiri Cocktail is the founder of by a big Daiquiri family. As you know the cocktail appeared in the Cuban city of the same name in the beginning of the last century. There are two legends of the origin of this cocktail. The first goes that one American sailor having found nothing but Rum in a grog shop, using sugar, medium lime and cushed ice, made a mix and named it lately as a Daiquiri.

Another story is patriotic and it goes about a Cuban engineer. He hold a course for manganese mines, Daiquiri region. He had just Rum to quench the workers' thirst. The engineer asked a farmer, living close to the mines, a basket of limes and granulated sugar. Then took out ice from the outfit for mineworkers and make a simple mix of this cocktail. The result was so successful the workers distributed the recipe through the island. 

No matter what legend is true, according to its ability to quench once thirst, the Daiquiri cocktail remains the most popular cocktail in the world.
