Ethno village Nevidio

The National Tourism Organization of Montenegro together with local journalists compiled a list of the most beautiful eco and ethno villages of the country. The first place went to the ethno village Nevidio. The village is located in a small place in Poscenj, on the southern side of Durmitor mountain. two lakes and the river Komarnica, this village is considered the most beautiful one in the Balkans. About its beauty and nature, the famous geographer Jovan Cvilic wrote.

This place is located only 30 meters from the main Risan-Zablyak highway and is ideal for lovers of natural beauty and adrenaline. Through the ethno village a passage to the famous canyon Nevidio is provided, the last, mastered in Europe. Nevidio is characterized as "a paradise for lovers of outdoor activities in nature". Four canyons wait for you here: Grabovica, Pridvorica, Komarnica and Nevidio.

Canyon Nevidio is about 2 km long, with a height difference of 125 meters. The sheer cliffs of the canyon reach 450 meters in height, and in some parts of it they are half a meter wide. All this is at an altitude of 1050 m above sea level. The vicinity of the entrance to the canyon is at an altitude of 1050 meters above sea level. The beauty of this region combines the village Poscenj, with 2 glacial lakes and the periodic waterfall of Skakavica, which, from the seventy-meter-high cliffs, spreads the water of the Grabovica River, which flows into the Komarnica River.

The first acquaintance with Nevidio Canyon will impress you, it will amaze you with its indescribable, stunning and strange beauty that is unusual for the human eye. During a 4.5 km long trip along the canyon you will meet waterfalls, straits, cascades, breaks, narrow canals and many other natural sculptures. Adrenaline in the blood will go up when you go under huge blocks or jump from a height of several meters into the rapids. Just imagine what it's like to be in the middle of a stunning canyon, make your way through bottlenecks, and see the sunlight only through a thin hole between the rocks. The coolest test is the so-called Kamikaze Gate - a section of 80 m long and 20 cm wide in some places. Remember that by beginning the passage of rapids, waterfalls, you cannot go back, you will have to go all the way to the end.
In the village, there are seven walking routes, lasting from two to twelve hours. Tour along the seven equipped walking paths will take from 2 to 12 hours. For fans of mountaineering, there is an opportunity to climb the Boljska ridge, 700 meters high, which is now very popular with climbers. In addition, 29 climbing walls have been installed in the ethno village.

Ethno village of Nevidio is built according to the environment and consists of several cascading levels. At the highest level there are nine bungalows of quality materials, equipped with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. At the middle level, there is the Savardak restaurant, offering local cuisine and traditional drinks - spritzer and a rakija. At the last level there is a beautiful lake, which all visitors of our village can admire. Enjoy walks through the forest, starry sky, clear mountain air, spring water away from noise and daily routines.
