Copacabana Beach

 Copacabana Beach (Copacabana plaža) is a separate site on the territory of the Great Beach (Velika plaža). The depth of the sea remains small at a distance of 20-30 meters from the shore, which is suitable for rest with children, as well as for windsurfing. The water and sand on the beach are very clean.
 In addition, the beach is equipped with sun beds, umbrellas, sports grounds and children's attractions, there are locker rooms, shower and toilet, on the shore there is a rescue service on duty, there is a specially equipped parking for cars.

 In addition to all abouve mentioned, the beach was awarded with Blue Flag - "European Beach Quality Standard".

 "Blue Flag" is an international award, given annually to beaches and wharfs since 1987, where water meets high standards of quality and is suitable for safe bathing. The birthplace of the Blue Flag is France, where the first award was given in 1985.
 The Blue Flag nomination is administered by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), a non-profit and non-governmental organization. The fund consists of 65 organizations located in 60 countries of the world, representing Europe, Africa, Oceania, Asia, North and South America.
 Corresponding to Blue Flag criteria require strict water quality standards, safety and environmental education. For places located in the EU countries, full compliance with the adopted directives is also necessary.
