Bungee jumping

In Montenegro, in addition to various types of outdoor activities on the water, on land and in the air, there is also quite extreme entertainment. One of these dangerous attractions is bungee jumping. The only place in Montenegro for bungee jumping is in the most popular resort town of Budva. It is located on the central beach of the city - Slovenska Plaža, near the elite residential complex Dukley. The platform for bungee jumping is located at an altitude of about 40 meters just above the Adriatic Sea. In addition to the jump itself, you can see stunning panoramic view of the nature of Montenegro, the Budva Riviera, the Old Town of Budva, the island of St. Nicholas and other attractions.

Bungee jumping is a jump upside down on an elastic rope from a special platform, which is located at a height of several dozens to a couple of hundred meters. After the jump, the rope stretches and contracts several times, lowering the jumper down and lifting it up. Bungee jumping means "jump on an elastic strap". These extreme jumps were common among the natives of the island of Pentecost from ancient times. For the test of courage, the men of the tribe (land-divers) tied their ropes to their ankles and jumped from high platforms into the abyss. The ideologist of bungee jumping is currently AJ Hackett, who has already opened several professional and quite popular venues around the world, including AJ Hackett's Skypark near Sochi.

How is the bungee jump carried out in Budva?

First, on the beach, a person seats down on a chair and an elastic rope is attached to their legs, and also all the rest of the safety equipment is fixed. Then the extremal, along with the instructor, go to a special platform and go up. Before the jump, the instructor once again explains all the rules for a safe flight, as well as how to push off from the site, so that the jump on the video looks more elegant and attractive. Free fall lasts only a few seconds, during which, as many lucky people say after jumpung, there can come an amazing moment of "rebirth". After this unusual and indescribable moment, life begins to be felt in a new way, the problems no longer seem so global and unresolved, and the world around us burst upon the eyes in bright colors... After the jump, the platform with the bungee jumper is slowly lowered down.

Restrictions for bungee jumping.

There are several recommendations and restrictions for jumping on bungee: by weight, by age and by medical indications. It is not allowed to jump for people of more than 100 kg.. It is strictly forbidden to jump for pregnant women and people suffering from epilepsy. It is not recommended to jump to those who suffer from hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, various neurological diseases, dizziness and other kinds of diseases. Children under 18 are required to have written permission from the parents or the presence of the parents themselves.

- 50 euros for one person,
- 40 €, if more than 2 people.
