There is the Maritime Heritage Museum (Zbirka pomorskog nasljeđa) in a high-class neighborhood of Tivat. It is located inside of a refurbished two-storied building, not far from the beach Purobeach. The collection of the Museum is more than 300 exhibits.
The collection dedicated to the former Naval Yugoslav base "Arsenal" is located on the ground floor. Visitors can see Austro-Hungarian equipment for ships and industrial mechanisms aged over 100 years. The first floor contains objects related to the training ship Jadran, which is still a functioning ship.
Two big submarines can be seen near the Museum. One of them is the Submarine P-821, which has been operated by Yugoslav fleet 1968-1991, its length is 50m. The submarine has been under the water for 726 day.
