Winter tour: Kolasin by night

Winter holidays will certainly be remembered by all who decide to spend them in Kolasin. The popular ski resort will necessarily win you over with its picturesque snowy landscapes. Mountain peaks, snow-covered slopes in combination with a dense pine forest create a unique atmosphere, which affects healthily. The air temperature even in winter is very comfortable, because there are no strong winds and heavy snowfalls. And the quality of trails and infrastructure can compete with resorts in Austria, Switzerland and even France. All active kinds of sports, such as skiing, snowboarding, sledging… are available there.

The surrounding nature is fascinating, not only during the day but also at night. Soft night lighting creates a fantastic effect as if everything is covered with silver. We suggest a walk in the suburbs at night and the opportunity to enjoy beautiful panoramic views of Kolasin.

The tour starts at your hotel and passes through the city center to the village Breza, where we continue the journey on snowshoes. The village is a 5-minute walk from the city center. From Breza we go through the hill Basanjeg, from where a magnificent view opens. Walk duration is 2 hours and does not provide high ascents. The trip ends by returning to the city and visiting Vodenica restaurant where you can enjoy the heated schnapps. The route is illuminated by torches, which are provided additionally, that adds a special charm to the walk.
