Paragliding over Budva

Paragliding is one of the types of active and rather extreme sport, to know which is destined only for true brave people. The flight on the paraglider is carried out by means of a complicated flying device, consisting of a fabric wing and several ropes for controlling the paraglider. The motion is due to the energy of thermal and dynamic air flows directed into an unusual wing shape, which allows you to move in any direction.

In Montenegro, an excellent place where there are all necessary natural and weather conditions for an excellent, unforgettable flight on a paraglider and enjoyable picturesque landscapes from a bird's eye view are the surroundings of the resort town of Budva. This popular town is located on the Adriatic coast, surrounded by majestic mountains from 3 sides and literally created for aerial extreme sports and outdoor activities. Also in this area, south, south-west and south-east winds dominate, which, in combination with unique thermal air currents, contribute to many-hour and long-distance paragliding.

The launching deck for paragliding above Budva is located in the mountains, 850 meters above sea level, in the town of Braici, which is only 15 minutes away from the Adriatic coast and the Becici area. It is from here your fascinating and amazing journey begins on the boundless Montenegrin sky, which literally merges with the Adriatic Sea on the horizon and turns into organic unity. From a bird's-eye view you will see the Old Town of Budva, the island of St. Nicholas, the island of St. Stephen, small towns, stunning landscapes of the Budva Riviera and much more. Hovering like a bird in flight, under you as in the palm of your hand will appear in all the beauty of the city and attractions, majestic mountains, gorges and, full of greenery, forests. A soft and safe landing takes place at a special area near the sandy beach of Becici in the same area.

The flight on the paraglider above Budva necessarily takes place in tandem with a professional instructor, who has great experience in this sport. The price of the paraglider rental is average in Europe and is 60-80 euros (depending on the season), which completely justifies an exciting 15-20-minute stay in the open sky, giving an unusual and heady feeling of weightlessness, mixed with ecstasy and a rush of adrenaline.

Children, aged 6-7 years, and adults, whose weight do not exceed 120 kg are allowed to fly. However, from time to time weather conditions on the coast, such as gusty winds or precipitation, do not allow you to ascend skyward.

A transfer from Budva, Becici and Rafailovici is included in the cost of the paragliding flight. But even if you stay in another resort place - Tivat, Kotor, Petrovac, Bar, Herceg Novi, etc., we can arrange a transfer for you at quite reasonable price. Also you can reach Budva by public transport, taxi, own or rented car.
