Diving in Boka Bay

The underwater world of the Bay of Kotor is one of the most intriguing and mysterious places of the Adriatic. On the seabed rest remains of ancient ships, some of which were built by the Romans. More recently, in the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro, underwater archaeologists from the research vessel "Hercules" (USA) discovered the remains of a ship, which, presumably, was built by the ancient Romans. In this bay the destroyers of the First and Second World War, patrol boats and trade caravans finished their way. Divers can explore these mysterious objects, both with an instructor, and by themselves. Many of the secrets of the bay have not yet been revealed. Lime reefs are a real coral kingdom, besides divers are attracted by underwater caves, which are intriguing with their mysterious atmosphere. All sunken objects are in shallow water, so even beginners will get their share of emotions.

We have the relevant international certificates that give us the right to provide tourists with various types of diving, including dive safaris (underwater hunting), Wreck Diving (diving on a wreck), wall diving (diving along steep underwater cliffs), children's and group Diving, as well as to teach diving and organize diving schools. It can also be freediving for both beginners and professionals, when it's enough to hold your breath and go to free scuba diving to explore the depths of the sea. For beginners, we can arrange a test dive under the water at a shallow depth, so that you can feel the full charm of scuba diving. In addition, you can snorkel and swim on the surface of the sea with a breathing tube, mask and rubber fins.

Our experienced instructors will help beginners to learn many secrets of the sea depths, and professionals, on an individual program, will be shown the caves hidden from extraneous eyes and the remains of combat ships resting on the bottom. The instructors working in our company have been trained for a long time and have a great experience in scuba diving. In addition, their activities are regulated by the International Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), which licenses all diving centers in the world.

Also we have various training programs for adults and children. Training programs last about five days. The certificate of the international standard costs about 200 euros for children and 250 euros for adults. An advanced 5-day course, which includes 3 main disciplines (deep-sea diving, underwater navigation and night-time diving) and one for a choice will cost about 300 euros.

The starting point of our trip is the town of Herceg Novi, Mirista beach or Zanic beach on the Lustica Peninsula. Here you will be met by our driver and instructor on a boat and taken to the dive site for free. If you stay in another resort place - Budva, Tivat, Kotor, Petrovac, Bar, etc., then we can arrange a transfer for you at quite reasonable price. Also you can get to the city of Herceg Novi or beaches by public transport, taxi, own or rented car.

Diving can be started from the age of 6, and by the age of 10 it is already possible to obtain a certificate. There is no limitation in age, it is important only to be in good physical shape and don’t have chronic diseases. A big plus of diving is that this type of outdoor activities can be practiced at any time of the year.

The underwater world of the Adriatic Sea off the coast of Montenegro is very rich, diverse and full of surprises. Here you are waiting for all kinds of sunken ships, submarines and planes, hidden beneath the thickness of the water caves and coral reefs and much more.
