Fašinada u Perastu
Traditional Fašinada is held on 22 July, during sunset in Perast.
Fašinada is an ancient folk holiday of Boka Kotor. It is celebrated to honor Our Lady of the Rocks (Gospe od škrpjela).
At this day, the first stone was laid to the base of the island Gospe od škrpjela located in front of Perast. Annually citizens of Perast approach the island by boats and throw stones into the water to strengthen the island.
One can observe the fest from the shore of Perast or get to the island Gospe od škrpjela by boat.
